Floral Educator: Commentating & Teaching 

Speaking in front of people is a skill that is developed through practice. This class will teach you the fundamentals of presenting to today’s audiences – from two of the industry’s most respected presenters. You’ll learn how to control stage fright, plan a program, commentate an arrangement, use power point to present complex information and break information down into steps for learning. Whether you want to perform on a stage before hundreds or teach a class in your own shop for customers – this class will give you the courage and skill to follow your dreams. Each class member will be videotaped and  participate in a specially staged live show (with an audience) to put what they’ve learned to work immediately. Hurry! Marie Ackerman AIFD PFCI AAF of Oklahoma City, OK is a former retail florist who currently is a sought after motivational speaker and educator. She has managed the Teleflora Education Center in Oklahoma City for the last 25 years.

Tom Bowling AIFD PFCI of Fairfield, OH has a BA in art and interior design from Eastern Kentucky State and a Master’s of Education from Miami University of Ohio. A talented presenter and educator, Tom’s programs have been enthusiastically received all over North America.
