Vonda LaFever AIFD, CFD, PFCI is a freelance designer from Niceville, Florida.  With over 36 years of experience, she has owned and managed her own retail shop in Dixon, Illinois for more than 20 years.  She continues to design and consult in the retail segment.

Vonda is very active in the floral industry.  Her talents have been employed as a floral instructor at Kishwaukee College where she also assisted with the student AIFD (SAIFD) program.  She has served as a Teleflora Unit President and a Regional Unit Director for the central region of the United States.

Vonda served on the membership committee of AIFD for 11 years, serving 2 years on the National Board as the Membership Chairperson. 

She is a member of the prestigious team of Teleflora Education Specialists and Fitz Design Team, teaching retailers throughout the United States.  She also utilizes her talents as a financial coach for TeamFloral, a consulting company in the floral industry.

In 2010, Vonda was on the team of designers invited to create the beautiful floral arrangements for the Red Carpet and Kodak Theatre for the Academy Awards in Los Angeles.

Vonda’s design work has been featured numerous times in the national floral publication Flowers& and she has contributed as a feature author in the book, Flowers Are Forever.
